General Terms & Conditions:



- Only accounts at level 10 or more are eligible to participate. This does not apply for version 5 accounts, for they have no levels. To register an account from version 5, it has to have more than 500 points and its registration must have been made more than one week before the tournament registrations. Imperia Online employees are barred from participation.


Rules of the tournament



- Game speed of Empires’ development - Mega Blitz (x10).
- All players will start with a basic state of the empire and 1 million of each resource available in it.
- Movement speed of personal armies - x10.
- Alliances are formed by up to 15 members.
- Participants in Lords of the Lands will compete in 3 different phases. When transitioning between phases, the net points and account progress are not reset.
- Phase I (08.05. 15:00 to 11.05. 15:00) - all participants are forming alliances of up to 15 people. All alliances are moving forward towards Phase II.
- During Phase I after the beginning of the realm, the players will be able to join and leave the alliance freely. Upon the end of the phase, the alliances will be locked for changes and the options to expel, join, leave or invite will not be available.
- If there are players without an alliance after Phase I, they will be blocked and they won’t be able to continue.
- Phase II (11.05. 15:00 to 20.05. 15:00) - all alliances are climbing up a ranking that consists of the sum of the net points of the alliance members to qualify for Phase III.
- Phase III (20.05. 15:00 to 03.06. 15:00) - оnly the top 24 alliances will qualify to access the Tournament Map - Top 1-12 are going to battle in the Platinum League while Top 13-24 in the Gold League on separate tournament maps. The remaining alliances will continue playing but will not access the two tournament maps and are not eligible for winning an award. The Global Map continues to exist separately from the tournament maps, and personal empires are located on it.
- The Leader can nominate members for expulsion. The expulsion module will be available after the start of Phase II and only if the Alliance has at least 3 members. Voting lasts 24 hours or until all required votes are collected. To expel a player, at least 66% of the Alliance members must vote against them. Once the necessary votes are collected, the nominated player is considered disqualified: their account is blocked, their ability to play is suspended, but they remain visible in the current Alliance’s member list. No more than 2 players can be disqualified in a single day. Disqualified players cannot play for another Alliance, will not receive a medal or e-pin, and cannot be replaced by other players. If a disqualified player has purchased Alliance Premium, it will no longer count toward the Alliance Premium, will not be included in the total number of Alliance subscribers, and will not contribute to the Alliance Premium bonuses.
- In each League 12 alliances are spread around a map of 169 zones - 12 headquarters, 36 exclusives, 105 independents and 16 empty ones.
- Headquarters are the alliance’s entry point on the map. They do not generate points and each is surrounded by 3 non-occupied zones that are exclusive for each HQ and cannot be conquered by any other alliance.
- Armies can be donated to the alliance only at the Alliance Headquarters.
- Each Headquarters has a level 10 Fortress and a visual representation of a Great Temple, which is not clickable. No other buildings can be constructed there.
In occupied zones, there is no Great Temple visual. A Fortress can be built up to level 10, as well as Towers, Moat, and Curtain Wall.
- Independent zones can be conquered by all alliances by sending an army to attack the independent castle holding the zone. After successfully reducing the army of the independent castle tile to under 1 000 units combined, the territory is conquered.
- An enemy zone is conquered when its Fortress level reaches 0. Each successful fortress siege against it decreases the Fortress level by 1.
- Occupied zones have a chance of experiencing a Rebellion, in which an independent army attacks the zone. Upon defeat, the zone loses its occupied status and reverts to an independent zone with a base army.
- The chance of a Rebellion is calculated every hour from the moment the zone begins generating points for the alliance, and depends on the following factors:
- distance from the occupying alliance’s HQ (greater distance increases the chance);
- presence and size of an alliance army in the zone (larger army decreases the chance);
- adjacency to a zone occupied by another alliance (increases the chance);
- number of points generated by the zone (more points increase the chance);
- and time elapsed since the last Rebellion in the zone (more time elapsed increases the chance).
- Exclusive zones are protected and cannot experience a Rebellion.
- A successful defensive battle against a Rebellion does not grant gold from supply train.
- If a zone is captured by another alliance while a Rebellion attack is traveling to it, the attack is cancelled and will not be carried out against the new alliance.
- When capturing an independent zone or a zone from another alliance, the following cooldown periods are activated:
- 0 - 1 hour after conquering: Lockdown - no points, no rebellions, no player attacks. Аlliance can move troops in and out and espionage from the zone is available. The zone cannot be spied on by an enemy alliance.
- 1 - 2 hours after conquering: The zone starts generating points for the alliance ranking. Rebellions can attack. Enemy alliance attacks are still blocked. Espionage from enemy alliance is still blocked.
- After 2 hours everything is unlocked.
- Independent zones can generate different amounts of points per hour. All of them are outlined in a description. Each subsequent line of zones contains stronger armies, but also provides more points.
- The empty zones are out of bounds and no actions can be taken on them.
- Attacks can be sent only from an already occupied zone of the alliance towards an adjacent zone which is independent or already occupied from another alliance.
- Only the Leader, First Officer, and Commanders can manage the alliance army, while the other alliance members can only donate troops. The number of alliance attacks that can be sent simultaneously depends on the level of the military doctrine of the leader, with the number of allowed attacks being the level of the leader’s military doctrine x2.
- The movement speed of alliance armies between zones is x10.
- The distance between zones is 200 imperial miles, and the distance for donating army to alliance holdings is 500 imperial miles.
- Any actions can be taken only from the zone that the player is currently in.
- Zones containing any number of alliance armies will have a flag at the bottom of the zone tile on the tournament map.
- Enemy zones containing armies are not shown on the tournament map zones. Intel can be gathered by espionage.
- Any zone that is under attack will be marked with a shield in the left corner of the zone tile. Any zone that your alliance attacks will be marked with a sword in the left corner of the zone tile. Any zone experiencing a Rebellion will be marked with a fist on the left side of the zone tile. Rebellions are visible only in zones owned by your alliance.
- Sending an army from one zone to the other happens only between zones that share an uninterrupted connection. If two zones are separated by an independent zone or one occupied by another alliance, armies cannot be moved from one to the other.
- If an army is sent to another zone which has been occupied by an enemy during the mission, the army will return to the original zone. In case that the original zone is occupied as well - the army is returned to HQ.
- At the end of Phase III the winner is the alliance with the highest number of points generated on the tournament map. The tie breakers are - amount of net points, amount of alliance members, earlier registration in that order.
- The limit for deployed army in an alliance holding is increased to 900 million soldiers.
- The level of barbarian threat will increase 10 times faster than usual.
- Each barbarian camp can send attacks against players placed at a distance of maximum 250 imperial miles, instead of 70.
- For every defeated barbarian camp the player will get a 25% increase in the strength of the barbarian attacks.
- Increasing strength of the Barbarian camps - each Barbarian camp defeated by а player will increase the size of the army of the next attacked Barbarian camp by a certain percentage. The increase is specific to the attacking player and will not affect the army that other players will see in the camp. The Barbarian army increase modifier in the camps returns its original value at the beginning of each day.
- The number of attacks that each player can send to barbarian camps is limited to 30 attacks per day, which also implies that the maximum expected strength of the barbarian attack that can be reached is 500%.
- The specialization of the army will be available.
- The army upkeep will vary depending on the percent that the army represents from the total net worth of the player.
- After 7 hours, units with completed training will be auto-mobilized on login or on each hour while the player is online.
- Тhe attacker will not receive gold for the pillaged population, but 50% of it. The captured population will be unloaded in the domain from which the attack was sent.
- Resource generation in resource camps is now dependent on realm progression: as more time passes, each camp will generate an increasing amount of resources. Travel time to each camp has been reduced, allowing for faster start of resource collection and a new type resource camp is introduced - Gold. Additionally, the gathering capacity of your armies has been increased by 50% and the total number of resource camps has been reduced to 30.
- The following change will apply:
For Colonialism level 10, Colonial Bureaucracy level 15 will be required
For Colonialism level 15, Colonial Bureaucracy level 25 will be required
For Colonialism level 20, Colonial Bureaucracy level 35 will be required
For Colonialism level 25, Colonial Bureaucracy level 45 will be required
- No Rally Points and Alliance castles on the global map.
- Players will be able to select governments for their empires.
- Players will be able to send all types of resources to their allies.
- Players will be able to send reinforcements to their allies.
- Players will be able to recover 35% of the lost units per battle with diamonds no matter the level of their Military medicine.
- Free recovery is limited to 65% of lost units per battle - 15% base and each level of Military medicine increases it by 0,5% for attackers and 1% for defenders.
- Alliance Premium with a single time charge fee will be active for the whole tournament.
- Personal Premium with a single time charge fee will be active for the whole tournament.
- Withdrawing diamonds out of the alliance treasury will not be possible.
- No tournaments will be available.
- No Vacation mode.
- No Global events.
- No Alliance Events.
- The Heroic Army will be available.
- No medals for Leagues.
- Wheel of fortune, lottery, and daily quests, will be available.
- Babysitting will be available for alliance members only.


Ranking



- Phase I - all players will continue to the next phase only in case they become part of an alliance of up to 15 people. Upon the end of the phase, the alliances will be locked for changes and the options to expel, join, leave or invite will not be available. If there are players without an alliance after Phase I, they will be blocked and they won’t be able to continue.
- Phase II - all alliances will battle for the top 24 spots in the ranking that consists of the sum of the net points of the alliance members. The tie breakers are - number of members in the alliance, time of establishing the alliance in that order. Оnly the top 24 alliances will qualify to access the Tournament Map - Top 1-12 are going to battle in the Platinum League while Top 13-24 in the Gold League on separate tournament maps. The remaining alliances will continue playing but will not access the two tournament maps and are not eligible for winning an award.
- Phase III - the winner is the alliance with the highest number of points generated on the tournament map for each league. The tie breakers are - amount of net points, amount of alliance members, earlier registration in that order.


Rewards:



- Members of alliances that finished in the top 3 places of each league in the final ranking will get Lords of the Lands champion medals for the Platinum League and champion ribbons for the Gold League in their profiles.
- Members of alliances that qualified for each league and haven’t already won other medals, will be awarded with a participation medal.
- Special medal - all members of teams qualified for Phase II will be awarded with a special medal, regardless if they already have or not other medals.
- Alliances qualified in top 12 of the Platinum League ranking will get diamonds as follows: 1st place - 6 900 000 еxpiring diamonds, 2nd place – 5 800 000 еxpiring diamonds, 3rd place – 4 900 000 еxpiring diamonds, 4th place – 4 200 000 еxpiring diamonds, 5th place - 3 600 000 еxpiring diamonds, 6th place - 3 100 000 еxpiring diamonds, 7th place - 2 700 000 еxpiring diamonds, 8th place - 2 300 000 еxpiring diamonds, 9th place - 2 000 000 еxpiring diamonds, 10th place - 1 700 000 еxpiring diamonds, 11th place - 1 500 000 еxpiring diamonds, 12th place - 1 300 000 еxpiring diamonds.
- Alliances qualified in top 12 of the Gold League ranking will get diamonds as follows: 1st place - 1 200 000 еxpiring diamonds, 2nd place – 1 100 000 еxpiring diamonds, 3rd place – 1 000 000 еxpiring diamonds, 4th place – 900 000 еxpiring diamonds, 5th place - 800 000 еxpiring diamonds, 6th place - 700 000 еxpiring diamonds, 7th place - 600 000 еxpiring diamonds, 8th place - 500 000 еxpiring diamonds, 9th place - 400 000 еxpiring diamonds, 10th place - 300 000 еxpiring diamonds, 11th place - 200 000 еxpiring diamonds, 12th place - 100 000 еxpiring diamonds.
